Some Helpful Hints...
On this page I'll put whatever info, tutorials or tips I think might be helpful to you throughout the year. I'll add more as it comes up. If you think of something you would like here, please let me know.
Composition Tutorial:
If you want some pointers on composition, checkout this video. It's really long, and intended for digital artists, but it gets the point across.
A lot of drawing basics are covered on my beginning drawing website. Please feel free to look through it to review anything you might need... for example: drawing faces, proportion, perspective, etc.
Other Tips:
- Use toned paper for a richer background with zero effort.
-Fade out your drawings, so they don't just stop awkwardly.
-Take photos of your process along the way.

Color Theory Tutorial:
Confused about color theory, or just want to brush up on it? Watch this video. He goes over all the important color relationships. (At the very end he discusses a technique specific to digital art, but the rest is very helpful!)
