The Selected Works

The selected works are the five images that are physically sent in to the college board for grading. (Yes, they will be returned to you). They can be chosen from the fifteen sustained investigation images, or they can be different. It's up to you. What they DO need to be is perfect examples of a total SYNTHESIS of your ideas, visuals, processes and materials. They can be a group of related works, unrelated works, or a combination of related and unrelated works.

There is no preferred (or unacceptable) material, process, idea, style, or content. Students should be the principal artist or designer of the work they submit.

In addition to submitting the images, students will need to write a statement about their selected works. Please see the page on writing your artist statements.
