I graduated from San Jose State University in 2010 with a degree in Studio Art, Preparation for Teaching. I then went right back to SJSU to earn my credential. I did my student teaching here at Milpitas High, then went on to be hired at Irvington High School in Fremont. I spent one year there before returning to MHS when a position became available. Currently, I teach Drawing, Drawing Studio, and AP Studio Art.
Drawing is my passion, but I also paint, and have dabbled in photography, ceramics and sculpture. I'm a big fan of crafting, so you'll probably see me doing some weird thing at some point during the year. Yes, you can ask me about it!
I live in Los Gatos with my husband and our "children", a chihuahua, a cat, and an eight-foot boa constrictor. I enjoy reading, traveling, cooking, napping and (obviously) drawing.
I finished my Masters degree in Education, so I never have to do homework again and I'm pretty happy about that.
Please feel free to contact me about anything you need.
