MY EXPECTATIONS
THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE:
Students are expected to BE RESPECTFUL, of me and of each other. My classroom is a safe space where students are free to express themselves without fear. Bullying of any kind is absolutely not tolerated and will result in administrative discipline. Using words that are disrespectful, or hateful, will not be tolerated either.
CLASSROOM CONDUCT:
1. Grab your supplies and get to work! Don't waste your time. If you do, your
grades will suffer.
2. Treat the supplies with care. Put them back where they belong.
3. Leave your sketchbook in class. Take good care of it, you won't get
another one.
4. If I am talking, you are LISTENING.
6. Light conversation, while working, is ok. However, if it gets too distracting, I reserve the right to move you.
5. Clean up after yourself.
6. Never leave the classroom before the bell rings. This is my #1 pet peeve and
I WILL give you a referral for it.
7. Absolutely NO spraying of perfumes, fragrances or colognes in my
classroom. This isn't something that should ever been done in someone
else's space. People can be allergic or sensitive to smells.
TECH ETIQUETTE:
1. Phones are kept in the phone organizer during instructional time. No
exceptions. We will keep them alphabetical, so know your number!
2. If I am talking, please remove your headphones.
3. ABSOLUTELY NO GAMES OR MOVIES. **this is a huge problem** In a
technology based classroom, there is a lot of opportunity for distraction. I will
not tolerate you playing video games or watching TV, or movies. If I catch you
doing this, you will get a zero for being off task.
